So we’re not the only ones with a half century on the score board. Blue Peter is also 50 this year. To celebrate, the presenters have been invited to tea with the Queen. Lucky them. I do remember the programme fondly, especially John Noakes but it seems quite tame compared to children’s TV today. Remember all those milk bottle tops we used to collect?
