Happy New Year

msdresI hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and Santa brought you everything you wished for. As it has been really cold, with frost and snow clogging up the roads, I wanted to invest in a really snuggly dressing gown, preferably one that would reach my ankles rather than ending mid calf. Found the perfect one in M&S but was a bit shocked, to say the least, that I needed a size 16-18/long. I know there is no standard sizing but I’m normally only 8-10 with very short legs, so didn’t think any overindulgence on my part would have had quite that effect! Not sure what I would have thought if I were a size 18. Be warned.

I just bought some new PJs from M&S (don’t usually get mine there, went for a size 12 as don’t like PJs too tight) but I wish I hadn’t, dreadful cut. I am 10/12 and the bottoms are too short from crutch to waist (so your back feels cold) and they are tight across the top of the thighs, yet the top is swamping me, to stay warm I am having to tuck the top into the bottoms, not very attractive! Will not be buying from there again. My mum-in-law warned me that M&S’s sizing was all over the place these days, I should have listened!
    Happy New Year to you.
