If you are a reader of my monthly e-zine, you will know that I am really loving clothes that you can wear in a multitude of ways. I gave the example of a Vivienne Westwood silk dress, purchased a couple of years ago, that I wear as a tunic with jeans, different belts, tights, shoes, with a vest underneath, a jacket and so on to create many looks. So even though the price tag was fairly high, the CPW (cost per wear) has been absolutely worth every penny.

Seems like we’re onto something.

Donna Karan, the designer that really does love women’s bodies, has been designing multi-tasking garments for quite a while now. Her DKNY Cozy, a cardigan that can be worn as a scarf, wrap, jumper etc has been in the shops for many years, along with a bag that can be modified as a tote, a day bag or worn across the body.  She has now launched an Infinity Dress which can be worn lots and lots of ways.

Look out for more of these wonderful creations in the shops. They are such FUN to wear. Just make sure you make a note of how you’ve worn them. Many times I’ve put a look together which is really amazing and then promptly forgot what I did. That’s old age for you!
