Yes, good news for those of you that hate dressing in dresses. The catwalks are full of trousers, as I said they would be back in the summer. There is a sense of the classic about them so gone are the baggy crotch harem pants, the unusual waistlines and the peg leg versions, all designed to make us shorter legged people look like midgets. Can’t come too soon as far as I’m concerned. have you seen today’s weather? It’s cold!!
If you love mannish tailoring, then go to Margaret Howell’s site www.margarethowell.com Fabulous. I also love these from Next. At only £80, a real steal.

I might sometimes feel old and past it but my book still manages to keep up with the times. You can now buy it on Kindle! Truly fab.
Not sure what Kindle is? Then go to Amazon, where this is a very short, but very informative, video telling you all about it. Certainly a great space saver, as it stores up to 3,500 books, is only 9mm thick and weighs virtually nothing. Also has a special screen to stop sunlight glare, so great for holiday reading on the beach, as well as saving lots of pounds of your baggage allowance.
Happy Reading

I was really thrilled when I found out that my photo – my specs actually – has been featured in an on-line Canadian magazine
www.signaturejmagazine.com
Written by a well known Eyewear Image Expert, Wendy Buchanan, the article is about eyewear that is hot this season, suits your face shape and your personality.
Here’s what she says about my eye wear:

Retro Geek Chic
The Inspired Artist™ frame style is for the naturally sparkly and animated professional who is a bit of a rebel and is happy to break the rules. This individual loves an ever changing business environment that allows them to use their creative energy.
I absolutely agree.

There’s a fascinating article in this month’s UK Vogue about dressing according to your star sign. Born under Aries, I am both dashing and daring in Vivienne Westwood – yes, I am. I also need to be able to move in my clothes because I move fast – yes I do. I have toned limbs and a quick smile – yes I do, or at least I’m working on it! My built in bravado enables me to ‘bend’ my clothing even in a more traditional environment – very true. I avoid tweeds – absolutely. All true. So to find out more about your style, go to Vogue. Perhaps it really is written in the stars.
