Due to a prior commitment, I've had to re-schedule next month's meal to TUESDAY 3rd August. It's Gillian's 50th birthday a few days prior so it would be great for you to come along and celebrate with her. She has chosen The Bistro, at The Bell at Stilton as the venue. Here’s a first for Peterborough – fresh, authentic Moroccan cuisine from Marrakech restaurant on Lincoln Road, slip inside and you’ll find it difficult to remember you’re still in rainy, cold Peterborough.

According to my friends at ESP magazine it 'evokes the balmy atmosphere of North Africa and the delicious dishes on the menu, hand cooked by the delightful Nadia, include: Loubia & Laadas – beans and lentils in a spicy, Mediterranean-influenced sauce; Kofta Mashwia – marinated minced lamb kebab, charcoal grilled and Tagine Dajaj, which is chicken cooked in a Tagine, the traditional Moroccan clay cooking pot'.

The cosy, 25-cover restaurant has been newly refurbished throughout so it's brand new and lovely.

You will need to TAKE YOUR OWN ALCOHOL, as the restaurant is unlicensed.
